HARDCORE SEARCH AND DESTROY TEAM INFO

First topic message reminder :

This post contains information relating to the formation of a Hardcore Search and Destroy Team. WE WILL PLAY HARDCORE MODE ONLY.

I have been playing this game mode almost exclusive over the past few weeks and think we could really do well with some small strategic plans and organization. If you are interested in playing on this team, please read through this and see what you think.

I am considering having a set time once or twice per week that we could compete, that way we can have a full team, and everyone will know what we are playing. Perhaps 1 to 1 1/2 hours once or twice per week. If we have enough people who want to do this, we can form two squads so everyone can play.



TEAM POSITIONS
The following is an idea of how the team positions could be broken down.


Offense

1.)Bomb Runner / Runner Escort
2.)Bomb Runner / Runner Escort
3.)Runner Escort / Mid Range Support
4.)Mid Range Support / Escort Backup / Sniper
5.)Sniper / Mid Range Support / Last Resort

Defense

1.)Front Line
2.)Front Line
3.)Front Line
4.)Stationary Post / Target Coverage
5.)Stationary Post / Target Coverage


STRATEGERY TOPICS

Here are my thoughts on a couple of tactics.

PERKS
- Claymores - on Search and Destroy these stay around even after you are killed, so if you plant one and die, you could still get the kill.

- UAV Jammer - good to use, particularly if you are a sniper, or if you are hiding.

I use these on a regular basis.


MAPS
-Most of the maps that play on SaD can use the above team concept. Vacant and Showdown are the two maps where a sniper position may not be the most useful.

OFFENSE AND DEFENSE
-How we play each map can be determined later. I do think that some maps are set up for an easy offensive attack if done correctly.

Falcon how do you use headphones on the wii?

I run the sound through my receiver. I have a pair of Bose around the ear headphones, it's awesome, you can hear everything.

I had a pair of those DJ-like headphones, plugged em into the TV and I mean you can tell where every shot is coming from lol

I have bose headphones too, they kick ass!!

im in australia so this could pose sum difficulty but ill see

on a saturday my time, friday urs i could play any and sunday mine or sat urs i can play any but my weekdays its like 930 to10 pm ur time until like 4 am ur time

Tuesdays at 4:30 is when we are supposed to team up and play.

I'll get you added carnage, but you are on quite a different time schedule.

Someone has to take control of this kinda stuff. Such as clan practices. I did it but with a broken wii :\
We need to get GB matches as an incentive to turn up to practices. And Snipe Cup and Frag Cup should be a good incentive

I want to, but I don't know if the others want to.

Okay I will. I have no idea where the hell Raz went so it's my job to keep the clan going until he shows back up again.

I'll make an official post sometime this week if I can.
